Classes fill up fast so call early

 

Saturday and Wednesday  Afternoons 2 PM TO 5 PM at Kimbeeba

 

Sept. 28- Entrelac $25:   Includes 1 ball of yarn for beginning project, instruction package with 5 patterns. If you have a size 7 or 8 (US) needles please bring them.

 

Sept. 17- Tunisian Crochet $25:  Includes double crochet hook, two balls of yarn and instructions.

 

Sept. 22 & 23 - Dye It - Knit It - Wear It: $85:

11 am - 3 pm

  Includes sock blank to dye, book, needles and instruction. See pictures to the left. Class fee includes additional help to turn heels and close toes.

 

Sept. 2, 9, 16, 23, 31- Socks: $25:

11am - 4 pm

includes yarn, needles, pattern and coaching to do a pair of baby socks. You will turn the heel and do a kitchner stitch toe. This should get you going for any sock pattern.

Class Descriptions: Call for dates

 

Color By Accident - $45 - Introduction to fiber reactive dyes. You will be dyeing silk scarves which will make excellent gifts. The class price includes all materials and supplies to do 5 silk scarves. The class is limited to 8 people. Be sure to wear old clothes or bring a cover-up since the dyes are permanent and will not wash out of your clothes if an accident should happen. Summer Schedule Tuesdays 6 - 9 pm, Thursdays 11am - 3 pm

Other time available, call for arrangements for classes for groups of 2 to 6.

 

 

Dye Sock Yarn 101 - $35 - Introduction to acid dyes. You will custom dye yarn for 1 pair of socks. Class materials included are 332 yards of 75% wool/25% nylon sock yarn and pattern. This yarn knits up on size 3 needles (US). The class is limited to 6 people. Be sure to wear old clothes since the dyes are permanent and will not wash out of your clothes if an accident should happen.

 

Socks "Dye it - Knit it - Wear It"  Three  2 hour classes - $85 includes yarn, two circular needles, 'Knitting Circles Around Socks, and other pattterns.

 

First you will dye your sock yarn:

 

 

Then you will learn to knit the socks "Two At A Time on Two Circular Needles!
